Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival which is celebrated to commemorate the everlasting bond between brothers and sisters. The sister ties a rakhi onto her brother’s right hand wrist to keep him safe and the brother promises to keep her sister safe too. The exciting thing is that sister gets gift on every rakshabandhan. What more you get a reason in Raksha Bandhan to celebrate with your family.
Being a designer, I always dress up on occasions and it excites me more to show some variations of styling. Its basically a colourful Indian outfit which consists of a beautifully embroidered over jacket which I have worn over a blue tank knitted top. I have paired it up with a silk skirt which has gota work and hand mirror embroidery. I have kept it simple with just a pair of jhumkas and few bangles. Hair are all tied back in a bun and a blushed eyeshadow and pink lips to keep a young and fresh look.
That was it for now. I’ll post some more styles with good quality images. (Sorry for the image quality in this post)
Wish you all a Happy Raksha Bandhan.
