Maybelline Baby lips lipbalms are the most popular and trending lip balms in India and they have quite a many collections namely, Candy Wow, Electro Pop, Color Changing, Spiced up and Baby Lips Bloom. Maybelline came out with Bright Out Loud lip balm range which got launched last year in October adding up to the Maybelline Baby lips family. Very recently, while shopping I got my eyes onto these new lip balms and I couldn’t resist myself from buying one. I have used the previous Maybelline Baby Lips Loves Color lipbalms in Berry Crush & Cherry Kiss and really loved those. So, I gave this one a try.

I am going to be reviewing VIVID PEACH.
Can I just say these strikingly bright colors are just so cool and why wouldn’t anyone wanna buy these. Just look at the packaging guys! Even if you don’t like whats inside it, you can fall only for the packaging itself! Well, all the Baby Lips collections have extremely cute colored packaging.
You can see below in the images that how is the real cover and packaging of the product. As nowadays, there are so many fakes available in the market which is very difficult to figure out. That’s why see the packaging carefully before buying.
The back side has all the details of the lip balm with directions and ingredients also. It has a perforated guideline to cut out and take out the lip balm from the back side.
Moving on, it comes in a standard lip balm sized red cylindrical plastic container with blue coloured cute bold alphabets saying Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bright Out Loud. Talking about the functionality, this is a good standard sized lip balm and it comes in a retractable tube which is good. The lid closes with a very audible click which means its nice and secure. It won’t create any mess in your handbag and even won’t take much of a space in your handbag. Its very travel-friendly, I can easily carry it in my pocket also.
It has a slanted tip which makes it easier to apply accurately even for the people who have thin lips. Its mechanism is great.
I am very impressed by the packaging because it’s colour coded. Each lip balm has the packaging of the same colour as that of the lip balm itself. Plus, it is mentioned at the bottom as well as on the side.

FORMULA & COLOUR PAYOFF-
Maybelline lip balm is infused with bright pigments for a bright pop of lively color. The colour is sheer which is buildable. This lip balm stays on my lips for like 5 hours without another application (provided I don’t eat anything), giving a sheer tint to my lips. It is infused with Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter for continuous moisture & supple smooth lips. It moisturises my lips only for 2 hours as I have dry lips and it does not stay after meal. You have to apply it again after having your meal. The formula is very smooth. It glides on smoothly and has a glossy sheen to it. The best part is that its nor waxy neither sticky.
It also has SPF 13 which helps save your pout from the sun. It smells like mint and has a cooling sensation on the lips due to menthol. And if you are not a fan of mint and cooling sensation, then you must be aware this is not for you. But if you are fine with it just like me, then it’s one of the best lipbalms out there in such an affordable amount. I feel that it gives a little plump look to your lips.
I have been using it for last 2 weeks and seriously have noticed a lot of difference in the appearance of my lips. My lips are pigmented and dry but I think my pigmentation has been lessen down by this lip balm. I am not sure about the dryness as I don’t think its that hydrating for my lips. But yes, its a good bargain for daily use without harming the lips as I personally don’t require any lipstick when I apply this.
